Community – Social & Recreation

Compassionate Care 4 All actively supports participants both within the community and/or to undertake social and/or recreational activities of individual choice. The participant can be supported on their own or within a small group setting. Community access and social and recreational support allows the participants to further develop their skills in the following areas;

  • Social – Increase social skills and gain knowledge and skills about interacting with peers and the public.
  • Interpersonal – Being part of a group, building friendships and learning new skills.
  • Physical – Getting out and about, seeing and exploring new things and having fun in an active way.
  • Emotional – Learning emotional regulation, patience, waiting and learning about peer’s feeling.
