About Lisa Miller
Service Delivery and Compliance Manager
Lisa started her business Heart 2 Heart Community Respite Carer Services in 2017. Lisa’s passion was largely driven by her own twin daughters who are diagnosed with disabilities.
Through her own learning, understanding and experience of being a parent of children touched by disability, she was inspired to apply her knowledge and skills to participants of all ages and thus, Heart 2 Heart was born.
Lisa is passionate in delivering quality support, ensuring that participants are meeting their goals, each have their own person -centred plans and that guidelines and compliance is met.
Lisa’s role within Compassionate Care 4 All involves overseeing quality safeguards and NDIS frameworks along with the day to day operations and administration.
Lisa and her previous Heart 2 Heart team were awarded Most Outstanding Community Respite Carer Service 2019 and a Victorian Training Awards Finalist.
Lisa holds the following qualifications; Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate in Aged Care, Food Handling, and First Aid Level 2, Mental Aid First Aid Certificate & Assist with Medication.
About Bec Baran
Service Delivery/Intake and Family Liaison Officer
Bec founded her business Compassionate Care 4 Kids in 2012 having worked in a special education setting for several years prior. Bec identified a large need for quality support to children and young people diagnosed with a disability in our region. Bec applies her experience and knowledge providing support to children and young people who have experienced trauma and neglect.
Bec has been working within the disability field for over 20 years supporting children, youth and young adults. She is caring and compassionate and endeavours to provide those she supports with a sense of safety, belonging and empowerment.
Bec’s role within Compassionate Care 4 All is to continue to support participants on the ground as well as spending some of her time in the office and meeting with participants, families and service providers.
Bec holds the following qualifications; Bachelor of Social Work with Distinction, Diploma of Welfare Studies and First Aid Level 2.
Staff employed with Compassionate Care 4 All hold various qualifications related to the field.
All staff hold Level 2 First Aid and have passed a National Police Check.
Some staff may also hold additional qualifications, and are matched with our participants according to their needs.
Uniforms/Badges are worn at all times, except at the request of the participant.
All of our staff have completed the NDIS Quality Safeguard Training Framework.
Our Compassionate Care 4 All team is made up of the following:
- Disability Support Worker (Certificate IV in Disability or currently studying to achieve this)
- Administration Staff
- Plan Manager
- Support Co-ordinator and Complex Care Team Leader
- Youth Mentors
- Volunteers/Student placement
